HiPEAC 2025: Call for papers

The HiPEAC conference is the premier European forum for experts in computer architecture, programming models, compilers and operating systems for general-purpose, embedded and cyber-physical systems. Areas of focus and integration include safety-critical dependencies, cybersecurity, energy efficiency and machine learning.

The call for papers is now open, and the deadline for submission is 1 June 2024.

With this call, authors are cordially invited to submit their papers for the HiPEAC 2025 conference. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Processor, memory, interconnect, and storage architectures
Parallel, multicore and heterogeneous systems
Interconnection networks
Architectural support for programming productivity
Power, performance and implementation efficient designs
Reliability and real-time support in processors, compilers and runtime systems
Application-specific processors, accelerators and reconfigurable processors
Architecture and programming environments for GPU-based computing
Architectural simulation and methodology
Architectural and runtime support for programming languages
Programming models, frameworks and environments for exploiting parallelism
Program characterization and analysis techniques
Dynamic compilation, adaptive execution, and continuous profiling/optimization
Binary translation/optimization
Code size/memory footprint optimizations
Architectures for emerging technologies such as neuromorphic, photonics, quantum, etc.
Machine learning applied to the above
Computing systems research from application studies
Journal-first model
HiPEAC was one of the pioneers of the journal-first model. All applicants who submit their paper to the open-access journal Transactions on Architecture and Code Optimization (ACM TACO) by 1 June 2024 and whose paper is accepted will be invited to present their paper at HiPEAC 2025.

5GPPP Trials and Pilots Summary Brochure 2024

As of March 2024, nearly all PPP projects have concluded their activities, with only 8 Phase 3 projects still on-going. The 5G PPP projects generated outstanding results and achieved a large impact, as it has been regularly highlighted in the various documents elaborated by the 5G Infrastructure PPP and the 5G-IA (e.g., whitepapers, reports, brochures, roadmaps), as well as in the corresponding project websites. Collectively, 5G Infrastructure PPP projects created a portfolio of advanced European telecommunication solutions. They also ensured a large momentum and dynamism for the actual trials of these solutions, as well as the further development of 5G systems on the road towards 6G networks, including other projects being funded by the 6G Smart Networks and Services (SNS) Joint Undertaking (JU). The SAFE-6G conference paper entitled , “A Proof of Concept…

The 2024 EuCNC & 6G Summit builds on putting together two successful conferences in the area of telecommunications: EuCNC (European Conference on Networks and Communications), supported by the European Commission, and the 6G Summit, originated from the 6G Flagship programme in Finland, one of the very first in its area. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP) and the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP), and focuses on all aspects of telecommunications ranging from 5G deployment and mobile IoT to 6G exploration and future communications systems and networks, including experimentation and testbeds, and applications and services. It brings together cutting-edge research and world-renown industries and businesses, globally attracting in the last years more than 900 delegates from more than 40 countries all over the world, to present and discuss the latest results, and an exhibition with more than 50 exhibitors, for demonstrating the technology developed in the area, namely within research projects from EU R&I programmes.

The conference has a not-for-profit organisation, hence, registration fees are as low as possible and all surplus will be made available in grants.  Best Papers and Booth Awards will be granted. Accepted and presented papers for regular sessions will be published in the Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore and other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
